Last summer, Yamaha Motor Germany organised the Ténéré Spirit Rally in Bosnia. In 2026, we’re returning with a completely new and even more accessible experience: the Ténéré Spirit Travel Trophy. An event where travelling, exploring, and immersing yourself in new landscapes and cultures take centre stage.
A week of pure motorcycle adventure awaits 150 Yamaha Ténéré riders. Share your passion for travel with like-minded adventurers. Take part in the Trophy, collect points, climb the leaderboard, and become the #1 Ténéré Traveler.
Experience the freedom of daily stages that take you far beyond the beaten track. Yamaha’s scouts have created routes that perfectly match the capabilities of the Ténéré. Since its introduction in 1983, the Yamaha Ténéré has stood for adventure. After four successful decades, it has become a true legend. Today’s Ténéré models continue to excel in rallies while taking riders on unforgettable journeys across the globe. Get ready to create memories that will last a lifetime.
ADVENTURE IS AROUND THE CORNER
Take the opportunity to discover new places together with fellow Ténéré riders on an unforgettable journey. Every day, you’ll receive a selection of routes and points of interest. The choice is yours: off-road or asphalt, riding solo or with others. Stops at scenic viewpoints or a “Ténéré Turn Off” are all part of the adventure.
The Travel Trophy is designed to give you maximum freedom. How you ride each stage is entirely up to you.
BECOME THE #1 TÉNÉRÉ TRAVELER
Yamaha has created a series of challenges to find the #1 Ténéré Traveler—someone who is adaptable, independent, a team player, eager to learn, and always ready for adventure.
Take on new challenges every day, collect points, and climb the leaderboard. The top three participants will be rewarded with prizes and glory.
YOUR PACE, YOUR ADVENTURE
Each day begins with the wave of a racing flag, but this is not a race. The stages are challenging, but your finishing time doesn’t matter. Ride entirely at your own pace.
PUSH YOUR LIMITS
The Travel Trophy is designed for riders with some off-road experience. On the first day, you’ll take part in an Experience Day featuring workshops and training sessions for different skill levels. Every off-road section also has an asphalt alternative.
TÉNÉRÉ TOWN
At the end of each stage, a new bivouac awaits you. Pitch your tent, take a shower, relax, enjoy local specialities, share stories around the campfire, and sleep beneath the stars.
If you prefer not to camp, that’s also possible. Prior to the event we will share the daily finish locations, this way you can book your own accommodation in the direct environment. Whether you booked your own accommodation or not, you’ll always have access to Ténéré Town.
